In mining plants, dewatering of waste sludge after flotation or leaching is vital. Our 800x800 and 1000x1000 Chamber Filter Presses are used in gold, copper, and chrome mines to recover 95% of process water and reduce transportation costs by minimizing sludge cake volume.
During crude oil distillation and waste engine oil recycling, carbon residues and bleaching earth (bentonite) must be removed. Our heat-resistant cast iron plate filter presses ensure micron-level purification without compromising the viscosity or color of the oil.
For chemical sludge in textile, marble, and plastic recycling lines, our systems used with high-pressure diaphragm or mono pumps ensure maximum cake dryness, meeting all environmental discharge regulations.
1. Feeding Pump Selection: Efficiency depends on feeding pressure. We recommend Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps or High Pressure Screw (Mono) Pumps depending on the abrasive nature of the sludge.
2. Plate Metallurgy: Polypropylene (PP) for chemical resistance, or Spherical Graphite Cast Iron for high temperature and extreme pressure applications.
3. Filtration Media (Cloths): Precision selection of multifilament, monofilament, or cotton cloths based on particle size to ensure easy cake discharge.
4. Hydraulic Closing Force: Our units provide sealing pressure between 100 - 400 Bars to prevent leakage during high-pressure cycles.
